Stories and Songs with our Kin Behind Bars

Come celebrate 10 years of programs of hope and healing behind bars!
The “Jennifer Kelly Band” will play, featuring a quieter set of music that is beloved behind bars, followed by some formally incarcerated speakers, and a dance set to round out the celebration.
Jennifer Kelly, the founder of RISE2hope and prison chaplain, will share stories and songs that bring hope, healing and dignity to our kin behind bars. We will also listen to the inspiring words of formerly incarcerated RISE2hope volunteers and learn about the RISE2hope Joy Bringers music therapy program and the CONNECT trauma healing class for prisoners within the maximum-security units.
